Hay Fever

Hooikoorts - Paulies Ginger

Hay fever is an allergic reaction to the pollen of trees, grasses and plants. Although the pollen is not harmful to our body, in some people the defense mechanism reacts strongly. Our immune system goes into defense and unnecessarily produces antibodies. That causes the allergic reaction. Stinging eyes, continuous sneezing and a stuffy nose, no one wants that. You can take medicine to stop this.

Get rid of hay fever.

There are indications that ginger and turmeric can provide relief from hay fever. Get rid of that runny nose, stinging eyes and sneezing fits.

How does it work?

Ginger and turmeric are both natural anti-inflammatory agents. Hay fever is caused by an inflammatory response of the immune system to pollen and other allergens. By reducing inflammation, ginger and turmeric may help relieve hay fever symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose and itchy eyes.

Research

A number of studies have examined the effects of ginger and turmeric on hay fever and some studies suggest that ginger and turmeric may be effective in reducing hay fever symptoms.

But it is good to report that there is no official scientific evidence that these herbs are an effective treatment for hay fever.

Ginger and turmeric can be a valuable addition to a healthy lifestyle and may help reduce hay fever symptoms.

Good excuse to take an extra shot of Paulies.

Cheers to spring.
