🍯 What is EU honey – and why acacia?
Much of the honey in supermarkets is diluted or mixed and therefore has little to do with real honey. EU honey, on the other hand, stands for purity and strictly controlled quality.
Our honey is not only EU honey, but also acacia honey. This means that the bees collect nectar from the flowers of the white acacia (Robinia pseudoacacia). These bees collect acacia honey in only 6 places worldwide, so besides being very nutritious honey, it is also very rare.
Acacia honey is known for its:
