Naturally, for the finest ingredients and the best slow juice technique, but even more so for the love for each other and a healthy life together, with all the challenges and personal growth that come with it. The search for love
Paul and Yvonne met in their twenties. They were madly in love and after a while, they had a beautiful daughter. Their love for each other was strong, and they were happy. But after a few years, personal, unhealthy patterns increasingly got in the way of their love. Paul and Yvonne separated with great sadness to find their own paths. This became a years-long journey during which they worked hard on their personal development. Separately, they experienced immense growth. They became wiser and gentler, towards themselves and others. There was more room for (self)love and genuine connection. After 8 years, Paul and Yvonne rediscovered each other and their love. Their daughter was now 10 years old and overjoyed that her parents were back together.
The discovery of Paulies Ginger
After many ups and downs, Yvonne had overcome her alcohol and drug addiction with the help of addiction care and had been living completely clean and sober since 2013, having not touched a drop of alcohol since then. Yet, Yvonne was fed up with coffee, cola, water, and tea, and was looking for a tasty drink with a kick, one that would set her on fire.
Paul, who always loved to cook, immediately wanted to make the very best alcohol-free drink for her. With passion, he began blending, slow-juicing, and experimenting with the finest products. After a long search, he created the ultimate ginger juice. Paul let Yvonne taste a sip, and she instantly fell in love with this taste sensation. Every day, they now drink Paulies Ginger; they fully enjoy life and each other.
Eric, Yvonne's brother and Paul's brother-in-law, is a connoisseur. He was immediately brought in to give the ginger drink even more flavor and, above all, to meticulously perfect the preparation method. Every day, he passionately makes the freshest organic ginger drinks. All three want everyone to fully enjoy the ginger juice.

You might think this story has ended, but nothing could be further from the truth! In June 2021, Paul launched Paulies Ginger. Literally, as he regularly stands with Yvonne at the market in Haarlem.
Additionally, Paulies Ginger is available at more and more locations throughout the Netherlands. And to make the story even better, Yvonne inspires other people through lectures and/or other media channels to break the taboo on addiction.
