Our Original RAW and Turmeric RAW have been transformed into Original MAX and Turmeric MAX. Our quality and taste remain exactly the same, still just as delicious and of the highest quality. We only had to change the name.
Why? We are regularly inspected by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority, who check for food safety to prevent dangers to consumers. They do a very good job, and fortunately Paulies Ginger has passed with flying colors multiple times.
However, they indicated that they found the name RAW confusing for the consumer, as there is no raw ginger and turmeric (raw is also toxic) in the drinks.
When we started Paulies Ginger, we chose the name RAW because the taste (100% unsweetened), besides being sharp, is also bitter, a true, raw taste sensation.
But Paulies Ginger naturally prioritizes quality and food safety, so we changed the name from RAW to MAX. The maximum taste and quality remain exactly the same.
The Original MAX contains 100% organic ingredients such as ginger and lemon, and the Turmeric MAX contains 100% organic ingredients such as ginger, lemon, and turmeric. Both are unsweetened and offer a maximum taste sensation.
