Alcoholvrije Gluhwein PAULIES X VICENZO - Paulies Ginger

This recipe was developed by our one and only Vicenzo. He is at the market in Leiden every Saturday. Here he has already let many people taste his popular, non-alcoholic mulled wine. Due to the great success, the entire recipe, especially for you, is available here.

Tip from Vicenzo: the longer you let it simmer, the tastier it becomes!

INGREDIENTS for a large pan of mulled wine.

Super fun to spoil your visitors with.

  • 50 ml PAULIES Ginger Original RAW (or possibly 100 ml Paulies Ginger Original or Turmeric)
  • 750 ml apple/pear juice (Schulp)
  • 100 ml elderberry juice power juice (Schulp)
  • 10 cloves
  • 4 star anise
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 slices of orange
  • grate the zest of half a lemon (lemon zest)
  • sprig of rosemary (garnish)

PERFECT SERVE:

  1. Pour the apple-pear juice and elderberry juice into a pan. Add the star anise, cinnamon sticks and lemon zest.
  2. Press the cloves into the orange slices and add them to the pan.
  3. Heat everything to boiling point and let the juice simmer gently. (about half an hour)
  4. Add the Paulies Ginger Original RAW (or possibly the Original or Turmeric).
  5. It is best to serve this delicious drink in a low, sturdy glass.
  6. Garnish with orange slices, cinnamon sticks and rosemary if desired.
