Tip from Vicenzo: the longer you let it simmer, the tastier it becomes!
INGREDIENTS for a large pan of mulled wine.
Super fun to spoil your visitors with.
- 50 ml PAULIES Ginger Original RAW (or possibly 100 ml Paulies Ginger Original or Turmeric)
- 750 ml apple/pear juice (Schulp)
- 100 ml elderberry juice power juice (Schulp)
- 10 cloves
- 4 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 slices of orange
- grate the zest of half a lemon (lemon zest)
- sprig of rosemary (garnish)
PERFECT SERVE:
- Pour the apple-pear juice and elderberry juice into a pan. Add the star anise, cinnamon sticks and lemon zest.
- Press the cloves into the orange slices and add them to the pan.
- Heat everything to boiling point and let the juice simmer gently. (about half an hour)
- Add the Paulies Ginger Original RAW (or possibly the Original or Turmeric).
- It is best to serve this delicious drink in a low, sturdy glass.
- Garnish with orange slices, cinnamon sticks and rosemary if desired.
